TravelJar started with a simple observation: most young Indians in Bengaluru wanted to travel internationally but found the planning overwhelming — visas, hotels, transfers, itineraries, safety. Either you did it all yourself and it was stressful, or you joined a traditional package tour and it felt like a school trip.
We built TravelJar to sit in the middle. Fixed-departure group trips — structured enough that you don't have to plan anything, loose enough that it still feels like your trip. Every departure has a TravelJar trip captain who handles the ground logistics so you can actually be present.
