Kasol is a small village on the Parvati river that became the unofficial backpacker capital of Himachal, full of riverside cafés, Israeli food, and budget guesthouses. It's the trailhead for walks to Kheerganga's hot springs and Tosh's mountain views, and a good place to slow down for a few days between bigger Himachal stops.
